A Review
I really liked this book! The premise of the series was what drew me in, considering that the books are post-apocalyptic fairy tale retellings, and they did not disappoint. I liked how it was fast-paced and engaging, and I loved the world-building in it. I also really appreciated how the author changed the plot of the original source material (Cinderella) in order to make the story an empowering feminist read. I continued with the series and finished all of the novels, which I would highly recommend doing, considering that you get to know an incredible and broad cast of characters and follow a unique and fascinating storyline throughout the books. Overall, I would highly recommend this book!
